All I Want For Christmas

I don't want a lot for Christmas.
There's just one thing I need.

I don't care about the presents,
Underneath the Christmas tree.

Make my wish come true.
All I want for Christmas is you.

I don't want a lot for Christmas.
This is all I'm asking for.

I just want to see my babies,
Standing right outside my door.

I just want you for my own, more than you could ever know.

Make my wish come true.
All I want for Christmas is YOU!

Merry Christmas!

All Together Again

I have received some ..........complaints amongst the Greenwood family about the blog-shout out for Brittin's visit.

Just for the record, ALL of my lovely, wonderful, talented, beautiful, awesome, sweet, caring, kind etc. etc. children and son in-laws will be here for Christmas! (And so will Brittin.)

Natalie will fly into Jackson on the 13th (and also Brittin), and Mitch and Marissa will arrive on the 15th, Max will land on the 18th, and Bryce will get here on or before Christmas Eve.

It is definitely an unexpected surprise that we will all be together again. I appreciate my kids and especially my son in-laws, Mitch and Max for making the effort to come to Wyoming for the holidays. You make this mother very happy.

Oh, and good news. Brittin is coming for Christmas! :)

Fourteen And Fabulous

Happy Birthday to the lovely Miss Paige.
She's 14 and Fabulous!

I surveyed our family members and asked what they love about Paige.
These are their answers:

Max: "I love how she is so happy, thoughtful and intelligent all the time. She always shows concern for those around her. And she lets us sleep in her bed when we come home. "
Marissa: "I love how she never says, or likes to hear anything bad about anyone."
Hailey: "I love that she is always nice to me, even when I'm grouchy. She is always willing to make treats for me."
Natalie: "I love that Paige is very brave and always has a positive attitude. She is beautiful and THE best at accessorizing."
Risa: "She is so helpful. I love it when she cleans the kitchen for me. She is always willing to do an extra dish job to help out, usually without being asked or telling anyone."
Mitch: "I love it when she cries when we openly talk about intimacy.....and makes us be more pure."
Bryce: "I love how Paige is so witty and always has the perfect thing to say at just the right time. Even though she has never been on a date she really gives the best dating advice. I think it's because she sees situations for what they are. She keeps it real."
Jeff: "I love Paige's personal integrity and her thoughtfulness towards others."

She is practically perfect.
We love you Paige!

Seven More Days

Seven more days, until I get to see this little lady!

Brittin has started to walk, has sprouted lots of teeth, redials my number and talks to me on the phone.  (I can't understand a word she's saying.)

I can't wait to hold her and kiss her and read her a story or two.

It's been 3 long months since I've seen her. I've missed her every single one of those days!

Only 7 more days, and six more sleeps.
But who's counting?  :)

Let Us Give Thanks

For Thanksgiving this year, we traveled to Idaho to spend time with family. It was a short (Hailey had basketball practice on Friday), but a very sweet trip. Bryce meet us in Burley to celebrate the day with us.

We stayed the night at Grandma Bertha's house. She spoiled us rotten with good food and good company. Nothing is better than breakfast cooked by Bertha.

Thanksgiving dinner was hosted by Brendon and Lisa. We were small in number, but had large appetites. What a delicious feast it was!

Our lives are blessed. We have much to be thankful for.

hAlLoWeEn FuN

I decided today to post my Halloween pictures before it's Thanksgiving. :)

This was the first year I haven't had a child go out Trick or Treating. Sad day. (But it was kinda nice not having to deal with the costume dilemma.) It's a good thing we live close to the Madsen family! Holidays are much more fun with kids around. Jeff, Jordan, Caleb, Own and Kendyl came over on Sunday to carve pumpkins with us. They turned out pretty cute, and we had a lot of fun. Paige worked her baking magic and made us some delicious Halloween cupcakes.

Here are the high lights:

Aren't we a cute bunch? :)

In the car on the way home Kendyl said, "That was a fun party!"
Yes it was!

Grandpa and Grandma Jones drove from Idaho to Casper for the tournament. Grandpa continues to be her favorite fan, he just gets to watch fewer games than he would like. Having them there with us for the tournament was a lot of fun.

It was a great season.
We love you Hailey.
You are our favorite Lady Brave. :)
