It's Autumn Time

We are enjoying a lovely fall here in the Star Valley. I am going to soak up every drop of sun & warm weather I can before the long winter.

A Girl, A Dress, and A Date

Homecoming 2011
Hailey was asked to her first high school dance. It can't be confirmed, but rumor has it that, "52 other guys had the same idea."
It was a fun and busy week. Two volleyball games, dress up days, the volleyball float in the parade, the football game, a day date and the dance, filled the week.
It still feels weird to see her dressed in red and gold, and "Go Braves!" doesn't roll easily off my tongue. Yet. (I'm working on it!)

Here's a peek at the week.

Homecoming 2011 was a success. Hailey was lovely.
Enjoy the pictures. :)

(Here's a P.S. about the dress. Natalie bought it for $99 and wore it to RRHS Prom. Marissa wore it to BHS Homecoming. It has now been worn to three different dances, at three different schools, by three sisters. I love it!)

This Is What We Do

After a 5 month break, (May- September), Paige is back in school full time. Although she missed the first few weeks of school, and wasn't sitting 7 hours a day in the classroom, she spent a lot of time working with a tutor and doing homework at home. She is figuring out her life in a new town, at a new school with new friends and teachers. (Not the easiest nor most fun thing to do when you are 13!)
Studying Hard............. Or Playing Angry Birds..........

 Too Cute For School

Hailey spends her life in the gym and on a bus going to volleyball games. She has had some exciting adventures during her travels. On the way to Gillette, the bus hit a deer. On one trip, the driver got pulled over for speeding, and another time, drove off the road and then back on again. Twice. Never a dull moment on a road trip!
She must be squeezing in some time for socializing because she was asked to the  SVHS Homecoming dance by a cute Wyomin' boy. :)
Dressed In Warm-Ups & Going To A Game

This might be Jeff's 19th year of teaching, but it feels like the first one all over again. He has spent countless hours learning new curriculum and figuring out a little bit of technology.  He is loving his new job and his little class of 6th graders.
Jeff has a love/hate relationship with his computer.
Spending some quality time together. :)

Life is good here in the Star Valley.
